Here’s the mix I’ve been waiting to post since last week. I’ve made some tweaks and think it’s pretty okay now, though it’s sort of gay between the Gretchen Phillips and Pet Shop Boys and everything.
As always, if you like the songs you should buy them. I’m particularly fond of the Yes Please album, as far as the new stuff goes, and highly recommend it if you’re into that song.
Side A (zip)
1. George Michael, Waiting For That Day
2. Gretchen Phillips, Honey, I Feel So Good
3. Mirah, The Forest
4. Marianne Faithfull, Dear God Please Help Me
5. Sunday & The Menn, You Cheated
6. Bosque Brown, Went Walking
7. Sleeper, Lady Love Your Countryside
8. Marmaduke Duke, Kid Gloves
9. Yes Please, Yes For Now
Side B (zip)
10. Bis, X-Defect
11. Julie Doiron, Je Le Savais
12. The Notwist, Pilot
13. Soul Asylum, Somebody To Shove
14. Kleenex-LiLiPUT, Eisiger Wind
15. Anavan, The Perfect Sound
16. Pet Shop Boys, A Man Could Get Arrested (Alternative Version)
17. The Weight, Had It Made
The mix is fifty-nine minutes.

I’m really ashamed to say that I had to Google these words to figure out why they sounded so familiar. God, it’s like being white and suburban and in high school in the nineties didn’t really happen to me.
Which, on second thought, might not be such a bad thing….
This is a Mike Monteiro print available through the lovely 20X200. Not one of my favorite editions that they’ve released, although it did just remind me of the existence of this video.
