Momus tells German museum-goers some (completely made-up) things about Darwin:

If that’s not enough Momus for you today, here’s my favorite Momus song, which I keep wanting to put on a mixtape even though it violates the 5-minute rule (and the “no posting songs by an artist more than once a year” rule.)  It’s off his 1987 debut, which I’ve never actually heard; I only know the song from its appearance from the Best Mixtape Ever, which somebody on a tape tree mailed to me when I was in high school.

In case you’re looking for the album, Momus gifted his Creation-era back catalogue on his blog last December, starting with The Poison Boyfriend (where this song appears – actually the second Momus album after Circus Maximus). Personally I think all six of the albums are worth a download, but especially the first two. The link to The Poison Boyfriend blog post is http://imomus.livejournal.com/2008/12/09/
Subsequent posts on the blog contain the other five Creation albums.

Oooh, thanks! I’ve checked his blog out periodically, but not lately, I guess.
