I’m seeing the Pet Shop Boys at the House of Blues in Boston tonight! I’m so excited! I’ve never seen them before! And I’ve been a fan since I was six, when I first heard What Have I Done To Deserve This. I’ve liked them ever since then, too, except for a brief time around 1996 or so when I decided that I didn’t like any dance music from before 1996 or so. But I was won over soon after, and have since grown to love so very many of their songs.
Anyway, here’s the one that’s maybe still my favorite, although really, why spend time debating favorites when they have so many excellent songs?
Also on the excitement front, the Red Sox are playing in Chicago tonight, which means that there won’t be any dreadful parking issues around the House of Blues, which is directly across from Fenway. I inadvertently made that mistake earlier this year when I went up for PJ Harvey and John Parish, and it almost ruined a wonderful evening.
