I don’t know if you know this, but for many years I was in a kinda-sorta band. There were two of us, we didn’t practice, didn’t really have any instruments to play, didn’t play out even once, and our music–an ungodly-ish mix of tape recorder hiss and midi trumpets–was frankly very challenging on the ears.
