I wanted to let you know about a new story-writing mini-enterprise I am starting, which is only going to run through the month of February. Since I’m hesitant to place ads on this site–or on any of my blogs, for that matter–I thought it would be better to try my hand at being entrepreneurial and vaguely pledge drive-y. So.
Here is the deal:
For $10, I will send you a 1,000 word dirty story, written by me. You will get your choice of whether you want the story to be non-fiction (ie. about something that really happened to me) or fiction (ie. about something that didn’t really happen to me.) I will mail a hand-stapled copy of the story to wherever you live, provided you live in the US. (If you don’t live in the US, it’s $14, just to cover international shipping.) There will only be ten copies of each story printed, and I won’t be publishing them anywhere else. (If I get more than ten fiction orders or ten non-fiction orders I will be writing more than one story.) Your story will be mailed within two weeks of your order.
Sleigh Bells have gone and released a video for “Rill Rill,” one of my favorite songs of last year. It looks really good, and on the ladies-gone-on-bloody-road-trips-as-a-music-vide0-concept scale it’s definitely more of a “My Favourite Game” (ie. very good) than a “Telephone” (ie. very annoying).
