it’s a part of the act, or not, but once the lips connect.. sigh!

It is so funny, so moving, and so recognisable: I so love the movie’s ending when, after having that row, she’s gone, and he looks out of the window, calling out her name, she looks up at him and give’s him ‘the wave’ goodbye, the one which says it’ll be allright, you’re my son, I love you, call me ..we’ll talk!

And sorry, but nó: I did nót like Brokeback Mountain!
It was too long, too boring, and most of all: too unrealistic
(no chemestry whatsoever) The kiss was great, and Michelle Williams too. And all the commotion about it, and what did we see? Not even a quarter of a buttcheek: if that’s what people think is a sex-scene, I feel sorry for them!

And another one I now remember: ‘Stonewall’!
Been ages since I’ve seen that one, but remeber it to be
quite funny and having a hunk in it!

I also like Billy’s Hollywood Screen Kiss and Broadway Damage (both 1998), even though they have subplots that bother me.

Bigger budget — Maurice (1987; Merchant Ivory, no less) and Longtime Companion (1989). I have not seen the others you mention but will warn you that Boys in the Band is the most depressing gay movie I’ve ever seen.

There are a few European movies hovering just outside my memory; I’ll write again if I remember any titles.
